poetic muse

somewhere in the silence
(as white as falling snow)
lies distances in time and space
of which we'll never know

where futuristic settings
and places, far and near
tell memories of many things
of which we'll never hear

of polar bears in swimming suits
and having so much fun
of secrets that could shake the earth
of battles, lost and won

of fireflies that dance and sing
and of the trees, so wise
when everyday, it seemed to us
was just a big surprise

of caring less and loving more
making wishes on a star
embracing all our differences
no matter what they are

and fin'lly of democracy
and democratic views
of people who could change our mind -
with just poetic muse.

Author notes

How do I change it so that in the corner I can take off "adult" and "reward"?

"of fireflies that dance and sing
and of the trees, so wise
when everyday, it seemed to us
was just a big surprise"...this stanza is still echoing in my mind!wonderful word-combinations!
as for the "adult" and "reward" thing, I have the same problem with one of my poems and have no idea how to fix it and I was too lazy to ask the moderators.you should do so thought!
