when all hope was lost
a tiny thing in me said
"keep on dreaming" and so I did.
then, a ray of hope came
in the form of sunlight
which washed away all darkness
and revealed a magnificent glow
so I held on tight
and the sky became lighter
and so did my heart

This is nice. Good to have something filled with hope as we often tend to think negatively, I think it's part of our human build up. I like this though. Positive thinking leads to positive outcomes. A lesson we all should learn.

I am amazed at the poems that came from this promt. You have done justice to penman's picture. There is so much hope in this poem and it does provide the reader with more than a life's principle to hold on to. Frans.
