A truce I call, upon the darkened veil.
A hand so said to move the tides so well.
Victim of society's fears, so sails
A day of storms, I knew, forgive me belle?
As time so weeps into a porous sand
My hours dwindle wroth, as the shade so moves
To clear a name? Nay, for the sun commands
My head to bow to this blow, my soul soothed.
As I leave these native soils, I forgive
Of those, so jealous souls, I had once known.
As they so eat a dish, of humble pie
I smile to know, it torments the sieves
And writhes in their mischief, to walk alone.
My soul so born of tougher sod, retries...

wow!
There is a real power in this piece. It definitely made me feel a bit stronger imagining myself as the antagonist. (or is it the protagonist?)
The rhyme is quite good too and it is not a straight-forward kind of poem. It adds to the interest. Some sarcasm here too. best wishes in the contest!
