Returned condensation
fills landless space,
providing habitat.
The gill graced, glide
and dive deeply, inspired
to explore grand depths.
While, atop gray breaks blue,
as a massive tail flips,
then disappears once more.
Floating silently, a witness
of hundreds ooh and aah,
pleased to have seen the sight.
As another pleased group of tourist
return to pier satisfied,
the watchers disembark for home.
Night falls, and the stars shine
turning moonlight waves
to silver shimmers against sands edge.
Looking across, none could imagine
all that transpires beneath;
hidden from human's dry eyes .

I think as far as the concept for the contest, you could have been a little more imaginative, but the ending really caught me, and your poetic techniques are really nice.
Very nice piece you have here. Thanks for entering. -
