It's a long hike to snow here...

But two of the mountains had snow for Christmas!
So pretty to look at....from the beach!
    *PEACE*

    Excellent haiku, Bear!

I really like the AHA moment you penned with "tongues catching snowflakes." This has excellent use of sense imagery, especially the senses of touch, smell, taste, and sight. I love to read and write winter haiku to permeate the senses. Bravo!! Don

    Great Haiku

I used to spend hours trying to catch snow with my tongue when I was little of course. This was a wonderful reminder. Love the snowflakes to, great touch. Well done on the HM

This is a good one, I like Haiku's, I personally suck at them though.

Not where we are, Bear... get out of that nostalgic christmas mood ... knowing southern California, about half of the families here will spend it at the beach, LOL.... mid 80s will be my guess.

Still, a very cute poem with a lovely presentation. You manage to capture a lot in your 'ku s
