Sinking underneath
my hanging head.
My body slowly
dissolves with
the concrete below.
My life has been stolen
by my guilty pleasure.
The pain is wreething
though my watery eyes.
I made a choice.
I chose to act now,
pay later.
Now the guilt
is unbearable.
My heart slowly turns
to stone.
My mind
has withered away.
All I know,
all I feel,
has melted in the
darkness today.
Now my soul
is lost.
It'll never be found.
Who would want
such a dirty
thing,
all shriveled
and worn out.
The life is completely
gone now.
The pain has stopped.
I no longer
exist in a world
where people have sympathy.
I belong to the Shattered Souls Society.
Author notes
It's funny, I was actually typing really slowly when writing this poem, as if the words needed time to come out onto the page. ***PICTURE #1***

It's almost an epiphany isnt it when a powerful write flows out of you with little or no effort. Very nicely penned my dear poetess. Chrissy
