Waiting

Sweet darkness covers the enchanted sky,
Provision of light, sorrowful moon's eye.

A prince of peace, a savior of time,
Waits for the morning star; gloried sunshine.

True love; the catalyst of this waiting,
Idolization of a princess. Kaitlin.

A girl of two worlds, a princess by day,
And when night takes hold, a sea nympth at play.

She won his heart saving him from death,
Love a clever thing, hidden in her breath.

But unable to commit, his love so unpure,
She refused him her love, left him onshore.

So to be redeemed is his simplistic goal,
For this girl he loves, posseses his soul.

And so he waits, until the bright sun rises,
When the Princess Kaitlin removes her guises.

Hopefully she will stay, listening to his pleas,
Or he'll spend his life waiting, forever by the sea.
