As I stumble along a path named life
A feeling from many years of strife
It lay upon my shoulders
The burden less comfortable
Rather I would be than in anothers notion of blithe
Nothing is easy, as it might seem
But the decisions I've made, deem
To living it all more freely
To ensure my own cheer
But to another my contentment, mere dream
For elation, to each his own
Mine, altered to those you've sown
Comparisons, for none is to judge
Another's vision of essence deviate
Definining realization of identity shown
Through the outcomes of many choices
A story of consequence told by a number of voices
Forever describes the soul stirring within
As I wish for no change of fate
My existence defined, by actions which rejoice

Thanks for entering
We all may look at anothers life and think they may have made a bad choice BUT we forget that each person has their own dreams and thus choices that fit.
This is well penned and reminds me that to each their own for it is their life they live and not mine.
Good luck - let the ink flow and your fingers dance
