Story of a Girl

She sits there in front of the screen.
The chair, unforgiving;
Taking away her comfortability.
She is blank.
Completing her mundane tasks daily,
But never anything more.
The house disgusts her.
Always cold, this frost is her Hell.
She needs to get out.
Take her in,
With closed arms if you must.
Take her in;
She needs a Heaven,
And she needs you.

Author notes

It just kind of popped into my head this morning, exactly as written.

    And it's the same as always... excellent! Usually the best poems are those that just come from out of the blue!
    Is writing poetry just a hobby for you? You are so good at it! Keep the ink flowing. I hope that the new year brings hope, love, joy, peace and prosperity to your life. Keep the ink flowing with your words from the heart!

    Well, for that it is a good poem, sometimes our best writing comes out from ourselves, and when laid on paper is great just the way it was played out in your head. This is beautiful. Thank you for entering and best of luck to you.
