Draw near, draw near
I will whisper in your ear
words of prophecy -- will say
'The lie shall fail, the truth prevail' --
and shoot the forbidden word
past barriers, quickly
before you have time to say
'Shut up!!' and slam the door
and break the lock
and sign in blood the oath
to be one more faithful
bodyguard of the lie
and swear
to lie to me forever.
Draw near, draw near ...
Please tell me what you think

this is wonderful, the whole poem has a meaning that makes one read this again and again. Loved it to death.

The first four lines are amazing, if you were to change anything about this, don't touch those lines!!!!
This peice made my heart race a little.
I picture things and this I could picture well.

in that the truth will prevail!
Interesting wisdom here spoken!
Keep penning on one stroke at a time!
