**Pounding of Hooves**
Over the hills and through the wood's, in the distance you hear, pounding of hooves. A trail followed, for many years, beaten down, and laden with dust. Through misty haze, a glance you can see, magnificent steeds, run swiftly. Off to their grazing ground, where emerald fields, are abundant with new growth, to feed and bear new young. Over the hills and through the wood's, in the distance you hear, pounding of hooves. http://allpoetry.com/poem/3627406 Nov 20 10:30 AM 2007
