Love Waits

The soft lights were ready
In that place she had prepared

Waiting still for his return
For love she took the dare

Sadness seemed to fill her eyes
As the clock seemed to freeze

A tear rolled slowly down her cheek
Softly falling to her knees

For the door refused to open
No one did enter into her room

Sitting there in those soft light
In a place of love's  lost gloom

once again you have painted beauty with your words.
All of what you write speaks so loud to me, at times I can relate so closely I am unable to comment at the time of the read due to the emotion you provoke with your poetry.
You are truly a gifted poet my friend!
