Fighting with my inner fire;
A flame that never dims or dies
Try to douse my firey spirit
All have failed, and many tried
If you can find your inner fire,
That little spark fanned into flame,
I pray that mine will not go out
And for your fire, will do the same

hummm this is different that i expected... i would ahve liked to have imagined the fire without you telling me what it was though as you repeated the image several times throughout the poem... none the less great poem and good luck in the contest xx
