As the light dances in harmony
the darkness infiltrates
like a cancer it invisibly spreads
embraced with innocence.
It catches hold and won't let go
claws so tight and gripping
as dance of life begins to slow
bewildered by fatigue.
As lustre dims and pain enfolds
an eye of hope is clear
to slowly rekindle symmetry's fire
and slash chains of secret gloom.
With radiant power in swaying tune
the hum of peace grows blatant
insanity's disease flushed out
the hypnotic trance released.
