Somewhere within bluest blue dream
footsteps across splashing puddles
lights lifting fantasy of water drops
to dance on the air around you;
searching bluest blue forest dim
lightless limbs, losing love to shadows
finding moon glow low mistaken mists
catching my eyes, and heart hunts for you,
pressing fingertips into a broken dream
for love fills the bluest blue air
breathing hope for unlived days in your eyes
til morning's fading farewell, in silent shadows.

This is so beautiful, atmospheric, the color creates a strong mood as do the visuals painted by these lines. I loved the line "breathing hope for unlived days in your eyes."

"breathing hope for unlived days in your eyes

A very poignant penning, Poet. I know the feeling all too well. Beautifully done. Good luck in Lynda's contest.

Brimming with Blue..and You!
Pkid, stunning write; mystical with brevity. The second stanza especially touched me:
"searching bluest blue forest dim
lightless limbs, losing love to shadows
finding moon glow low mistaken mists
catching my eyes, and heart hunts for you"
Love to read poetry so beautiful in the morning!
