Oh, for woe, pain and dread
but there's a kitten on my head
she's been there since I woke up
she's staring into my coffee cup
how can I ever comb my hair
with a kitty-cat laying there?
I wish she'd find somewhere else to sit
with her on my head, my hat won't fit
she must be happy, I suspect
she wrapped her tail around my neck
this is really making me frown
she keeps pushing my glasses down
oh please, kitty, say good bye
with you there, I can't tie my tie
i wish this kitty-cat would stop
digging her claws into my mop
this stubborn cat i've tried to doff
but she shows no signs of coming off

Hahahaha! What makes this so funny is that, knowing cats as I do, this could actually happen. And yet, while I've been commonly afflicted with COL (cat on lap), I've not yet suffered COH.
This was a truly enjoyable piece. Thanks so much for entering my contest!
