Tell me!

Tell me!
Who am I?
But a candle in the night?
Tell me!
What am I?
But the blind searching for light?
Am I
The tormented
Wanting wishes full of lies?
Am I
The secluded
Gazing into sorrow's skies?
Am I
The one who desires
Someone who understands?
Am I
Trapped in fear's fires
Always responding to your demands
What am I?
Lost,
Wondering,
In a darkened void
Crying,
Mourning
For the time that's been destroyed
Cause without you
I feel as though
My heart has been ripped out
Without you
A part of me's a doubt
Without you,
I'm splitting into two
I'm but a dying soul
And it's all because of you!

    Beautifully done!!!

    Anger, saddness & realisation...
Thou speak'eth from thy heart of thy great sorrow and find thy self bereaved on cruel winds of time and memory...
    I loved this...
You have a talent for capturing emotional response within your works...
Another great write you have here...
    Well done!!!

TRUE POETRY...(if I ever read it)

This poem was like the sponge of life absorbing my crocodile tears as they fell ever so slowly (OKAY....so I know that was extremely korny...but this really was a beautiful piece). I personally love reading poems, although I went through a hell of a struggle writing the only two semi-poems I consider of any value (they're entitled "Life Dreams/Night Dreams" and "In The Name Of The FATHER And Of The SON And Of The HOL SPIRIT"...) If you ever get a chance I think you should check them out. Trust me, they're no where as good as your piece, but I think you might enjoy them. You are a great writer. Have you always enjoyed poetry (reading it, writing it)? I absolutely love the imagery and symbolism, this was an incredibly intriguing piece, TRUE POETRY...(if I ever read it).
P.S. Thanks for commenting on my "Religion In Public Schools, What's Your View Piece", or was it still called "Evolution Science (Darwinism) vs. Religious Doctrine (Creationism) when you read it? I'm not even sure...i swear I altered the name of that piece a hundred thousand times...now it's called: No Child Left Behind: (A Well-Balanced Education). Anyway, thanks for the comment, really appreciate it. i'm sure I'll get more sometime in the future...but you always appreciate your very first comment the greatest, so thanks alot. By the way, I'm pretty sure P.A. court really did declare the teaching of Intelligent design in Public School Science classes "Unconstitutional" (but I'm not really sure...I first heard about it from this documentary I watched in my Bio class...but I wasn't really paying attention so who knows, and who cares really? (apparently noone besides you and I, because so far your my only comment)!
