I am alone,
Another flame on the sun
Crying, crying-the darkness listens well
I know fear, and I fear great things
That are loved and praised, but never seen-

I am still,
Another flame crying on the sun
More and more days, I burn for love
And all of this darknes-it has many ears
And I can tell it my troubles and my all of my fears-

I am here,
Another flame burning on the sun
Talking, just talking to anyone
In the darkness of forever, I lose my fear
Because it is the darkness that has housed my years-

I am alone,
Another flame on the sun
Waiting, waitng-the darkness is forever
I know fear, and I fear nothing
Because when I burn out, the darkness will love me
