In hope that no one would get in,
But somehow you touched my life,
In a way no one else has ever did,
Slowly bringing down my wall,
That allowed your access,
To my heart.
You showed me your love,
As I showed you mine,
I fear that it would all end,
Way before it would begin,
But you proved me wrong,
Since you stood by me,
Helping me through my time of need.
I never thought I would be able,
To feel this way again,
In my heart I know this is different,
And is meant to last,
Until the time comes,
Where neither of us want to let go,
Of the other.
