For Lyndon

The book has opened
its pages turned,
the imagery drawing
into this world.

Characters like pip,
or grim Dr. Grim,
keeps our attention
as the drama begins.

Even the sweet songs
sung once by Keats
or Longfellow, has the
heart soaring, once again.

And as I see you,
walking 'neath the
changeling leaves of autumn,
a smile brews, upon my lips.

A lovely tribute for our literature expert Ron. Yes, he made us aware of many good poets through the ages, people I had never heard of before. But I am not an expert of course! lol. Thanks for your entry.
    Anna.

I believe I know who Lyndon is. If I am correct we get along quite well. This was a lovely dedication. Good luck in the contest.
