Hey mom, this is Wyatt,
I just wanted to talk a while,
I had to look at a picture today,
to remember your beautiful smile.
I wish you were here right now, mom
to help put a smile on my face,
I'm feeling a little overwhelmed now,
guess I'm just having one of those days.
I know you want me to be strong,
to enjoy life and have some fun,
but nothing ever feels alright,
at least not when each day is done.
The girls are doing real great,
you would be so proud of them,
they're stronger than I could ever be,
and they both have real good friends.
When I look at them, I think of you,
they both have your looks and charm
I wish that I could be like them,
they help turn cold hearts warm.
I'll turn up the radio now
as they play your favorite tune,
I miss you more every day,
we'll talk again real soon.

aww...you made me cry. My mom has MS and I dread this more and more as time goes by. I am so sorry you have had to deal with this, and I hope you have plenty of friends and family to help you along. Thanks for entering my contest.

This was so sad to read; I'm sorry to hear about your loss, it sounded like you and your Mom were real close -
But I'm glad that you have good memories of her, and ways of remembering her in your day to day life too like with hearing her favourite song on the radio ... those are what's important for remembering the ones we've loved that have gone before us!

Another one of your poems that brought tears to my eyes. Your Mum would be so proud of you too. You have been a great brother to you sisters. You are a strong person who has had to go through a lot at a young age. Maybe it is just one of those days but you will pull through like you always do.

Yea, I think your probably right, sometimes my head just gets cloudy and I forget that...I don't know how to explain it, it's like I have this heavy wieght on my chest and my thoughts are all sad...but i just work though it...I'll be alright...I do appreciate, very much, your comment and your concern.
