I washed them
ten times
so they would fade just right
and look like yours
The jeans I stripped
off
when you asked me to
I wore them
under my robe
at graduation
I wore them
under my dress
at your stupid frickin wedding
hoping
that you’d change your mind

First I want to ask you to please not to 5 star my comment or comment me back in anyway at this time. I am trying hard not to find out who anyone is.
You poem is just too cute.
Me being one who wears jeans all the time,
most people here in Philly are jean people.
But under a graduation robe and His... Wedding...
LMBO !!! Loved it...
Thanks for entering my contest and good luck.
Loveandblessings2u & yours always

Thought Provoking
Brings out just how determined one can be to prove that they are willin to be with someone even if those feelings are not returned. I can totally relate to this cause it brings back such a bad time in my life. but beyond myself I love this poem and cant help but read it over and over again. keep at it.

Beautiful work. I'm not quite sure what to else to say about this. There is so much feeling in it I don't think there is anything I could say that would sound right. Thank you for the chance to read a beautiful piece of poetry

A very well expressed piece of your emotional state of mind, or whoever you were referring to within the poem. Great piece, versed wonderfully! Peace!
