I was true to you
From the very start
Why did you have to leave making me blue.
I gave to you all that I can
After all I'm only human
I'm just a man
I did the best that I can.
Before when I looked at you
I seen my future unfold
Ours was the greatest story
That love has ever told.
Now when I touch your face
There's a coldness with you
I can't understand what's happening
Why these feelings so blue.
I can't imagine life
Just pain, heartache and strife
What am I living for
If I can't have you anymore?

Very painful emotions here. I can tell you (because of my advanced age... hehehe) that it does and will get better. But also heartbreak hurts just as bad no matter how many times you have to endure it. But endure it you must for hardening ones heart is never the answer. Best of luck in the contest...

The answer
The answer is yes, I feel the pain. I also feel bitterness & sadness. Fine work.

So sad when life gets cruel ...but life goes on and pain subsides only leaving a scar behide.
