Dirty shards of broken glass
Lay scattered on the floor
I know that I pissed you off
By the hole in the bedroom door
I know I talk way too much
By the hand print on my face
I promise to have this place cleaned up
And have dinner on your plate
You are the one that I adore
I will do anything that you ask
As long as I can learn a lesson
I know this relationship can last
I know that I drive you to drink
And force you into other’s beds

Yes...unfortunately, there is a sad truth to this piece. I've never understood how a woman, or anyone for that matter, would tolerate putting up with a situation like this. But then again...it makes for interesting news when the woman finally has had enough and we see a story about how she beat him half to death (or worse) with a cast iron frying pan

I think I'm in love my address is 391 hwy lol but really that was great I loved this poem good luck in the contest and if you have a sister or friend with the same mentality you should let her know that she can have a man as good as yours

hmmm, this is quite interesting but it has such a deep truth to it! A lot of woman do this for their husbands just because they love them and they put up with this but I liked the story line behind this! very entertaining
