I will miss your smile this Christmas,
still feel you in my heart deep within.
Memories of our Christmas mornings,
as I recall where do I begin.
Put sprinkles upon Christmas cookies,
flour on your nose and in your hair.
Marking the days off the calender,
Christmas morning running down stairs.
Lift you up put the star on the treetop.
snapping the hot wheel tracks together,
Play shutes and ladders and candyland,
make snow angels in snowy weather.
Your first Chrismas baby ornament,
still hangs on the branch of the tree.
Picture with Santa on my desktop,
another beautiful memory.
Making chains with contruction paper,
with bright colors of red and of green.
Writing letters addressed the North Pole,
the sweetest smile I have ever seen.
This time of the year we give thanks,
thankful to have you for all those years.
Sitting here and counting all my blessings,
remembering with eyes red with tears.
Watching the snowflakes and morning sun,
I sit and remember tenderly.
Yes you are my sweet Christmas angel,
now you are the one watching over me.
I love and miss you Brian
still feel you in my heart deep within.

"This time of the year we give thanks,
thankful to have you for all those years.
Sitting here and counting all my blessings,
remembering with eyes red with tears."

As your Christmas Angel watches from the Heavens, he is sure to wear a smile for as you reminisce he feels your heart with love and his eyes with joyful tears. Brain is sure to be watching from where ever Angels watch. For he knows you still need him. You my sweet friend a thought of often and held in my prayers. May a touch of the magic of the seasons you shared with him bring you peace as you move on through this one. He is still there with you. Sorry if I sound like I am repeating myself as I try to muffle through this. My tears flow with the appreication of being able to read the tender words of a mothers heart.

excellent
A very nice poem to your son Sandy. I know he's somewhere reading this and appreciating it very much, as all the other things you've done for him. It's never easy to lose someone we love and it's especially not easy to spend holidays without them. But it's also important to remember the fun times we had with them and the things we taught and learned from one another; a bond I'm sure is pure and sacred between you and Brian. Thanks for sharing this. Deeply touching.
