The younge warrier bathes in the river
Cold in the crisp morning air
Washing off blood and the stench of death
From his skin and hair
A hard battle was fought
And lives were lost
But the real war is yet to be won
Will he be ready
Will he know
When from hell they come
Will he win the battle
Or will he fade from sight
Will he constantly be watching
Or will they get him in the night
He is a warrier
He knows how to fight
Or will he choke up
When things don't go just right
So fight for your people
Fight for your land
Love your family
And give our soldiers a hand
They fight the battles
To save this place
They risk their lives
To keep us safe
What life would you live
What would America be
So just remember
Freedom isn't free

Yay theres a typo in the first line or so but still I remember when you wrote this. It's one you don't forget. The last 2 stanza's are the best!

The last line is great. Check for typos though. I noticed a couple. Thanks for entering.
