How virtuous is it
when I see
so many innocents
starving?
Integrity's throne
has rusted with
decayed appearances
of harmony.
Scales of equity
seem lopsided
as the Rollers transport
prosperous monsters
beneath their masks
of deceit,
championing their rights
to indulge whims,
bought with
shekels of slavery.
Shouts of
hijacked resources
and acute victimisation
become a citadel of
righteousness.
Yet their children
sip upon
empty husks
of poverty.

"championing thier rights to indulge whims" and "...citadel of rightousness" both very powerful lines good work.
-
Empty husks of poverty, that is a powerful line in a piece full of them hun, you give them a voice and make it heard... gold or peanuts
