I am asked every day to perform tasks that are impossible.
I can't wave a wand and make something so utterly impossible, possible.
I wish I could, the world would be a better place.
No war, no hunger, no disease.
Happiness and peace would reign over us all.
Divorce wouldn't happen and children wouldn't die.
But in this sad world, magic does not exist.

Honest, blunt and sad. This is certainly a heartwrenching piece, but I like it's lack of grace (I don't mean that in a bad way, I just mean that you didn't try to sugar coat anything). Thank you and good luck.

a beautiful, truthful, and yet incredibly sad write. it is quite to the point, isnt it? but full of truth.
magic does not exist, it is true, but still people can make a difference. even if it is only for one child, for one suffering person.
dont forget the brighter side of things sis.
well done.
