we all die slowly
some with broken wings
so faith can fly

thank you. she has left him, and she got counseling for it. thank you for the concern. I love the poem short and straight to the point. I do hope she will stay, because I know how it is to loose a love one.

Much to think about in this short piece. Great depth. Faith does carry us when we feel broken. Nicely done.

    OOOppps,

Sorry for my previous abortive reply. It seems so natural to hit that ENTER button.

Would that we could all have just broken wings and never broken hearts, broken minds, broken spirits. Like most things, death is never what it seems, and only the living are left sad at the grave site. For the dead know not sorrow, nor sadness, nor want of any kind.

Basically many are already dead. They just haven't stopped breathing yet. It is so sad that society kills off so much talent before it even had a change to grow. It's the way the world is structured. But I believe those who have managed to stay alive in spite of all the assaults on their lives, might have earned themselves a ticket to immortality. Thank you for creating and sharing. I enjoyed reading your poetic pondering. Take care,

....they just haven't stopped breathing yet. oohhhhhewhhhhhhh. That's chilling. The truth, too.

Why, thank you for adding this to its purpose.

PS. And all your special comments. ....

    Fantastic

It's amazing how something so short and small has such a large impact. It certainly induces the thought process to wander into philosophic territory. It's beautiful!

I'm afraid not knowing Brandy3 has me at a disadvantage. But this powerful piece launches the spirits to the limitless heavens in faith.A point in time we all come to face.More of us are there than here, that's for sure and I've no doubts we will all see one another again too.Minus the issues faced here.A very compassionate piece.

what and where I am uncertain, but it needs more somewhere
I like all it states in the minute pieces of the puzzle God creates for us here on earth for certain.

simple and light but yet so heavy with burden.
