A sickly little saint
Sick in the head-
Almost dead
Buried in what could have been
Something more than the unseen
Bound to the Bible
Forcing her gaze from
Mundane pleasures
The necessities of life
She tries to escape
The boundary of heaven,
Imagining her life underground
Homeward bound
Back to Satan
Carve his name
And kiss your wrists
Dear little sinner,
You've now deceived
The skies above,
The holy grounds
You wanted hell,
You wanted fire
To lick your skin
Forbidden desire
You said goodbye
To all the past
You've eaten souls
From first to last

A very strong piece. Great job.

Interesting rhyme scheme, I like it.
I think the short lines work really well in this poem and add to the intensity of it. Nice work!
