Here in my school we’re thinking hard
“Should I put down the Ace, will it be the right card”
Let’s not forget, the trouble we have to go through
Hiding food from the teachers is real hard to do
Sitting in class is too much to ask
Listening there is by far the worst task
Though writing all day is not far behind
And the lectures we hear are one of a kind
The subjects we learn are interesting here
Notebooks are gr8, and can be fun to tear
The homework they give mounts up on us
And then they ask why we complain and we fuss!
Yet being a student is still fun to be
And the school year will fly by when you grab the right key
If you can’t get this key, the one to the building will do
And if you need help, we’ll be there for you

Omg, this I can totally relate to! Going to school everyday can be really stressful and sometimes, I just want to quit. What with homework, tests, drama, it's hard. I like the way you pointed out the pros and cons of school in this piece. A good read to remind students that going to school can also be a fun thing! -
