There's a mouse
Roaming my house
Scaring my spouse
Making her grouse
When he does sqeak
To me she does speak
And rudely shriek
Douse that mouse
You lazy louse
Or it's out the door
Forevermore.

thank you for entering and good luck in the contest

Your poem made me smile and brought to mind the experience my poor little sister had with a live rat one of the cats had brought in. The only things I'd alter within your poem would be to add quotes to the last four lines, and possibly a more demonstrative bit of punctuation at the end. Thanks so much for entering my contest!
