In pillowed clouds of fragrant wind,
the essence of pleasure divine,
taunts with tender caress
from nirvana's breath
Whispered nothings,
echo in kindred silence,
through a soul entranced
by the splendour held in its sight
Botticelli dreams of angelic embrace,
completely overwhelm, the ability
to absorb anything beyond,
the purity of this moment
Nations could rise and fall
and I would care not
For if, in this instant,
I neglected to take your hand,
regret would haunt all of my days,
not knowing if you would have accepted
all that my heart has to give
Now, as this moment passes,
I stand with sated pride,
that I have shared this walk with you,
through love's winding path,
even if only for the moment.

Thank you for the gracious comments, I knew you would enjoy this. Thanks again for the silver, although where to place it on my mantle I'm unsure. It was a pleasure to be inspired by your contest yet again.
