world we see

Heart of love
in seasons of change
in fluttering fall
in unfolding spring;
'neath restive spirit of north winds.

Under heavy passioned air
summer heat, touched by fragrant breezes
bright as bolts slicing the night
to leave the world a-tremble
and fresh; heart of love.

Finding a reflection in the eyes
lifted as cool water to thirsty lips
welcome as birdsong at sunrise
or shimmering moonlight on the waters;

for love binds all of time
and flows through our moments
to light as it will upon our eyes
and tell us of the world we see.
