The Touch of Times

Time touched everything surrounding
With his aged and withered hand
He passed it unto the flowers in the fall
Fading their beauty as dying petals
Losing their limbs at times expense
Til the last of  the water exits their roots
And with it the last of their spirit
Who held on with great grip
But even he could not avoid times grasp

This was so beautiful and so deep. We can't stop time, because one day eventually we will grow old and wrinkle like everyone else. Yeah, it sucks but it's truth. I like how you referred to the flowers and nature as well. Loved the idea in this and the ending was perfect with

"But even he could not avoid times grasp"

Couldn't of said it better myself.
