Author notes
**Icicle Irony**
Inky as coal in the night Strong and bold as a tree Icy stalactites of frozen glass. Shiny as diamonds in the day Weak and brittle as a rose Rippling pools of translucent prisms. With the sun, it melts away. Drip-Drop. . . . .Drip-Drop With the moon, it freezes again. Drip. . . . .Drip http://allpoetry.com/poem/3615852 © Cara L. You Got Some talent Girl
Once again, beautiful imagery with so few words yet speaking volumes. When I write they usually end up 70-100 lines...to say what I want...lol. You look at the world so beautifully...

FITS THE PHOTOGRAPH TO A T!
GOOD LUCK in this contest with this short and sweet piece that painted a fine image of the photograph that was presented with it - very beautifully. The two lines below - say it all!
Drip-Drop in the sun, melting away in the day.
Drip-Drop in the moon, freezing again in the night
Peace & Love!
Earl.

This is great and the picture is so good. I use to sneak outside and eat these when I was a kid. Funny, if you tried that now, you'd die or something worse. lol
