There should be an award
for "the most oddly placed pieces
of mediocre art".
My university would win,
for the vases that gleam on bathroom counters,
and the glorious oil murals
that sit unnoticed in dusty corners
of the fifth floor stacks
(somewhere between ety an ento
mology)
It would be much more fitting
than the award this building recieved
for its archecture
(sometime in the seventies)
as this windowless classroom
obviously used to be a storage closet.
