Bullies

My hair may not be like yours,
It's long and frizzy.
I don't have your cheerleader body.
It's fat and short.
I'm the one you laugh at,
When I walk down this hall.
I'm the one you taunt,
When I enter the classroom.
I'm the one whom feels her life is unworthy.
All because of your stares.
It's all your fault.

Do you hate me that much?
You don't know me.
I have many talents,
But unlike your rich infatuation,
With people just like you.
You'd never know my favorite color is blue,
Or I can do cartwheels too.
You'd never know I am a sweet person,
I'd still help you any way I can.
You wouldn't know I'm an artist,
That paints all of life's beauty.
I am a volunteer,
I help feed the homeless.

You wouldn't know this,
Because people like you,
Never give people like us a chance.
We are the future,
We are the light,
We are not that rich,
We live for each day to be it's best.
We don't boast,
We don't brag,
Taunt, or make fun of others.
I am human just like you.

But you'd never know.

Aw, this is such a sweet and touching piece. The tenderness shown still while being shunned really stands out to me. The flow and message of this piece are excellent. Such truth. Strong ending. Very well done. Thank you for sharing.

    Supurb write indeed

So many kids arent taught not to taunt others and this reflects back to the parents indeed . For they are the teachers while we are young so I ask why does our world try so hard at being hateful for that person you taunt will be right there should you ever need help .They would share all they have to get a smile . Its time our schools start paying atention and make sure all students are treated equally as it should be . For so many kids today I have seen 5 and 6 year olds shoot me the finger on the side of the streets when I wave at them and it sickens me to know where they learned it from . You stand tall and proud for the goodness you have within will take you far in life and you will be strong when it truly counts .

I like the concept behind these words. I think that people too often judge. However, I'm not sure if you hit the point of the subject matter.
