++++Thoughts Of Fall++++
The pleasant gifts of fall make their dramatic appearance,
in infernal blasts of red and orange, yellow and faded brown.
They swirled about the unfamiliar trees;
which had been bright emerald for so long.
It makes me smile, cheeks flushed in the chill
and don a bright red, fluffy scarf that whirls about me.
The beauty of the death of the earth mesmerizes me;
asking me to come closer as the creaking trees bend to the wind.
The time for skirts and skimpy clothing has left, being replaced
with bundled creatures, only showing bright pink noses.
A cold settles at night, but is comforting to me, skies finally clear
and the fall constellations beaming down on my pale face.
I love the fall, falling amidst the crunching leaves in happiness
Enjoying the crisp, cool noise surrounding me.

For such a crappy feeling, it realy is a pretty time of the year.
And by the way, it's not the death of anything (least not nature wise), it is just a comatose, deathlike slumber.

No, it's not death, its death, and then rebirth.

A beautiful and especially new way to look at fall. I have to say, for something that has lasted for as long as it has, you have given it a new light with a brand new meaning. The wording is excellent and helps immerse the reader into the world that we walk through everyday. Great job!
