My mum said to me
Days turned to years
The years flew away
So much has changed
Since that day.
I've fought battles
And lost my life
I've done things i shouldn;t have done
And got into strife
I've said things
I shouldn't have said
Instead of saying sorry
I swore instead
I've tried so many times
And failed many more
I used to be able to do anything
Now I'm not so sure
My mum still says I'm brilliant
But that's what she has to say
I've come to realise
She lies every day
I do all i can
Just to get recognition
But no one cares when I'm just
A Perfect Imperfection
