when you are ready to give up
he is there to pick you up
as you surrender your heart
he gives you a cleansing mark
the light begins to shine
on you and others' around you align
the victory that overcomes the destiny
that was set out to break your last catastrophe
where is that moon that set the sail
to brake you onto the shipboard cruise
now you have overturned your heart
to a better tune, that sings love songs
welcome to a new calming of your spirit
that all others' can feel in your presence

thank you for directing me to this poem I know that I have eerlasting love and support I just didn't ever aknowledge it believe me I'm trying to live the life that I know was meant for me I've spent so much time away I just hope it isn't to late for my family to see that I truly want to make a change

I loved this poem, I can feel your emotions and can relate to them. Your word choice made this poem especially powerful for me. It is a wonderful feeling when everything falls into place after they have been so mixed up. I felt that way today when my English teacher was talking about analyzing poetry. He made it so that you have to tear a poem apart before you can understand it. I already knew how to understand poetry so it just gave me an awful headache having to think about the exact process I do without thinking about it.
Thanks for helping today get back to normal.
