Her Life

She wore her pain,
On her arm,
Underneath her sleevle,
No one would ever see.

She wore a smile,
To disguse it,
The pain she had,
No one ever saw it.

She wore her heart,
On her sleeve,
Many crushed it,
But none ever saw it.

She hung her head,
To hide her face,
People called her ugly,
Yet,she never understood them.

She hugged her friends,
Held them close,
They didn't know,
Why tears filled her eyes.

She bit her lip,
A pen in her hand,
Her mind an open book,
Writing non-stop.

She wrote her heart,
To keep it inside,
Not letting many in,
She was on lock down.

She closed her eyes,
Sleep taking over,
No dreams come,
Only a black void.

Her life.
