I will always keep you in my safekeeping
from the darkness that fills your soul
the clouds of despair that surround your spirit
as you try to hide from sinister feelings.
My umbrella of safeguard can be your refuge
as I embrace every moment you see those shadows
shielding you within my castle of tenderness
surrounded by my moat of love.
To see your desolation is almost more than I can bear
as I try to shield through times of sorrow
with this mantle of gentleness I caress your essence
for your worth to me is more than I can say.
Together one day the bonds will be released
but until then rest securely with me
tomorrow's dreams right now are desolate
I will never give up hope that your star will radiate.
