A dancer in a red
tutu and pointeshoes,
Adagio
onto the stage.
Her deep steps
and knee bends perfect,
her legs resemble a crane's.
Full Plie,
Dolce
and then slow accelerando
from the wings,
her partner.
Andante, fouette
Pirouette,
Candence, pause.
Legato,
he and she,
dainty glisse,
Diminuendo, fondu,
Ostinato, the chorus,
brisk bends and lifts
pique, and jete
Meno, arabesque,
hold and lift,
and dip,
piano,
slow soutenue,
pianissimo,
fine.

Beautiful in every aspect; the poem, words, and the imagery of the dancer moving gracefully.
