[ this face in that mirror is there ]

this face in that mirror is there
not there but here and is laughing
at what sits in the back of my teeth

so colour it red light green night
as seasons begin to birth on verde
eyes(that fill me with sin) I paint

a canvas to lay the world down next
to you(while I count sheep 1,2,3)and
wait for tommorrow to find yesterday

still counting A,B,C safely sound asleep
are two thoughts(you and I)hide behind a
hush of words waiting for once upon a time

Sweet poem! I love the imagery and word choice! Great job! Keep it up!

The first two lines didn't sit well with me, I didn't like it at all, however once I got to the second stanza the poem picked up momentum and I found it very interesting and wanted to keep reading till the end....the last three stanzas are amazing!
