And my eyes are where I saw that smile
that showed the size of his heart.
From my eyes, come the tears
that I cry out everynight.
Because I'm the one who caused his pain.
the one that tore us apart.
The truth in me, is in my eyes
so look and you will see,
everything i think and feel

Very nicely done, Claire. Your rhyming is excellent except for about one place. And your rhythm and meter is good too. This is a little switch for you, going back to formful rhyming from the excellent free verse you've been doing. Must have been a school assignment, huh. Keep it up, with not such large gaps between posts, lol.
