In the emptiness we could be together
We could be with each other all the time
With only emptiness at our side...
But what of the fourth companion?
Who would it be?
Could it maybe be silence?
Silence is a good friend of mine
He was there for me when no one else was
And he can join us together
Or maybe it could be hope
He abandoned me at one point
But I would let him back again
He was a good friend until... he left
But I do not care who it is really
As long as we can be together
With emptiness and one other beside us
Until the time we left again
...I would be happy with that
