Known for his passion and dedication to his children he was obsessive and quite compulsive of making sure that he dropped his kids off at the pool every day. Usually at different pools so he would give them knowledge of the diverse. Sometimes twice a day. You know an early swim and a mid night lap to help them build and grow, because only the strong survive.
You see, he was a man small in stature and thick in girth, but his kids knew how to swim and compete with the best of them - especially when backed by his boys (their god parents or guardians). The only problem he had was that because of stature it often took
longer for some of his kids to reach the pools edge let alone the deep end. And to make up for this, because he felt as if he was some how holding them back, he began to increase his visits to the pool. Sometimes 3 times a day, on some weekends maybe even more than that.
And he made sure that there was never, ever, an instance of swimming at home alone. This was absolutely forbidden.
And so it was that Mr. Hiscock, a small but thick man, leaves to mourn him: a family larger than the Kennedy's and his imprint on the walls of pools damn near everywhere.

Not good but it was the first thing that came to mind and I couldn't pass it up.

The Phrase that pays
Have you ever heard the phrase "dropping his kids off at the pool" in reference to a guy and his sperm. It was a play on words starting from that phrase, so if you never heard it that may be where the confusion is. I didn't expect to win. It was a fun contest though. The entries you got were hilarious.
