Wrote a poem
On the best page
Poured my heart
Transferred my soul
On the fragment of paper
Decorated it lovingly
With my sparkling tears
Kissed it with my lips
Wrote a poem
It was my mind
Out on the paper
My emotions, my voice
My real thoughts
An" then suddenly
It caught fire
Burned, went black oh!
I stood there
Dunno how
With my astoned heart
Bleeding soul
An' raining eyes
An' the paper, my poem
Soon turned to ashes
Scattered and vanished
Dissolved in dust
But still alive in my heart
In form of my tears
An' I love those tears
As they are my poem
My soul, my heart
That turned to ashes
Author notes
You might know how it feels when you write a poem from your heart an' it's destroyed. It's so an' so much paining an' hurting.Tell me how you would feel!

Very good
The words are simplicity themselves but in context they speak volumes on the mind frame, hopes, admissions and views of the author. The experience of putting your thought on paper for the perusal of others offers a certain inner satisfaction that must be experienced to be appreciated, letting your own words guide you to a deeper awareness of your surroundings.
