my freinds

I have a friend, whos name is dale,
he's a real pal.
He is always there,
even if life's a bear.
He's been tellin me
to write some poetry.
And its makin me feel,
like i have sum renewed zeal.

i have a friend named Sean,
he's more than a pawn,
in the game called life.
When everything turns to strife.
If a guy with a knife,
came in the night.
He would help me fight.
Even to the end.

i have a friend named Matt,
and he is apt,
to attack,
like a soldier from Iraq.
he will always be there for me.

I have a friend named Chris,
who is very caring,
for if daring,
he would be bearing,
my load of my mistakes.
And will cover our backs,
while i cover our tracks.
Where ever we go.

I have a friend named Julie,
who is a Culey.
But for i love her,
I would never give her up.
who is very caring,
which i don't want load bearing.
I love her more than anything else.

I have a friend named Brooke,
and if you take a look,
you'll think sh looks good.
She likes to check on me,
and wont let me be,
if there is sumthing wrong with me.

I loved this poem and it must be very special for your friends. True friends are hard to find. I enjoyed your use of similes when comparing your friends, very nice touch. This if the first poem I have read by you but plan on reading more soon. You did a very good job on this one. Thanks for sharing!

    Great great great poem

Totally agree with ya, John. Love these kinds of poems. What he says is all true, I know them all. They're all my friends, too.
